Whether you're a seasoned choral singer or a total beginner, an avid concert-goer or a first-time audience member—Lacuna Arts has something for you.

This a cappella chorus of 24 balanced voices gives intermediate and advanced amateur choral singers the chance to tackle some of the more demanding 8-part choral literature with as few as 1–3 voices per part.

Past repertoire has included Rheinberger's Mass in E-flat, Parry's Songs of Farewell, The Peaceable Kingdom by Randall Thompson, and double choir motets by Gabrieli, Telemann, and J.S. Bach.

For those wanting to learn more about reading music or singing technique, we now offer individual instruction with Sven Edward Olbash, our lead Teaching Artist and a graduate of New England Conservatory..

Taking lessons in singing or musicianship is the best way to prepare for auditions, learn new solo songs, or take your choral performance skills to the next level.

Our Chorale Laboratory gives beginning and intermediate singers the opportunity to study and rehearse the music our large performing group Chorale will present in concert throughout the season.

No audition required, but participants will have the opportunity to audition for Chorale if they would like to sing in our concerts.
